Hapoel Holon Signs Skylar Pikes as New Guard

Israeli basketball club Hapoel Holon has officially signed American guard Skylar Pikes, aged 27 and standing at 1.97 meters. Pikes, who has Jewish heritage, will be eligible to play as a naturalized Israeli player in the Israeli Premier League once the naturalization process is completed. He can immediately join the team for the Champions League.

Pikes previously played four seasons at St. Francis College, where he averaged 17.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He received permission to play a fifth collegiate season but opted to join Hapoel Holon instead, coached by Dejan Radonjić.

Despite Pikes's signing, Hapoel Holon is still seeking to recruit another foreign guard. Daniel Revach, the team's professional manager, described Pikes as an athletic and versatile guard capable of playing multiple positions. Revach highlighted Pikes's strong three-point shooting, scoring ability, and his notable rebounding skills, noting he was among the top collegiate guards in that category last season.
