Man Charged with Sexual Assault and Rape of Two Women

A 26-year-old man from central Israel, Dolav Hayun from Tnuva, has been indicted for sexual offenses against two women, including rape and indecent assault by force. The State Prosecutor's Office announced the charges on Tuesday, with the court lifting a gag order on Hayun's name.

The two complainants, both in their 20s, met Hayun while out at bars in the central region. One of the women worked as a bartender at one of the establishments.

In the first incident, Hayun offered to drive one complainant home. During the journey, he diverted the route to his own home, insisting she come inside. Once there, he allegedly grabbed her phone, kissed her against her will, and despite her attempts to push him away and requests for him to stop, proceeded to rape her.

The second complainant drove Hayun to his home at his request. When she asked to leave the vehicle upon arrival, he allegedly unbuckled her seatbelt, threw her phone from her hand, and forcibly kissed her without consent. Hayun then continued with indecent acts against her, despite her pleas for him to cease. After she managed to push him out of the car, she drove away. While she was driving, Hayun repeatedly called her, leading to her being involved in a car accident on Highway 6.

The prosecution has requested that Hayun be held in custody until the legal proceedings conclude, citing the danger he poses to women, with the alleged incidents occurring several months apart.
