A listener, speaking with radio host Barak Seri on 103FM, expressed anger over Segal's journalistic practices and alleged that many colleagues at Channel 12 fear criticizing his controversial statements. The listener specifically mentioned fellow journalist Ben Caspit, who co-hosts the program "Meet the Press" with Segal, suggesting Caspit is afraid to challenge Segal.

Seri defended his colleagues, stating that people are not afraid of anyone in Israel and that criticism and support for Segal's work exist.
