Rabbi Sternbuch Leads Hundreds of Youths in Yom Kippur Spiritual Gathering

Hundreds of religious youths gathered at the residence of Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, a prominent halachic decisor, for a spiritual event ahead of Yom Kippur. The gathering, described as emotionally charged, involved the youths reciting verses of unity with Rabbi Sternbuch, who delivered a fervent address.

Rabbi Sternbuch emphasized that his blessings derive their power solely from the attendees' commitment to strengthening their observance of Jewish law and commandments. He stated, "My blessing has no validity and its power is worth only according to the size of your actual strengthening in Torah and Mitzvot! This is all the validity and this is all the secret of the blessing!"

The event culminated with each youth approaching Rabbi Sternbuch to declare personal commitments for the new year. These included commitments to observe Shabbat according to halacha, don phylacteries daily, and pray in a minyan (congregation). Rabbi Sternbuch blessed each youth individually, placing his hands on them and wishing them success.

The youths departed Rabbi Sternbuch's home spiritually uplifted and prepared for the holy day, with renewed resolve for their future observance.
