Pakistan and Qatar Leaders Hail U.S.-Iran Talks in Switzerland
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the start of U.S.-Iran negotiations in Switzerland reflected intense diplomatic efforts that brought Washington and Tehran to the table. He described the moment as “a big day that will lead to global peace.”
Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, said everyone recognizes the importance of the meeting. He added that “the main celebration will be reaching a final agreement.”
Al Thani said Qatar continues to support mediation in the process. The comments came as the talks between the United States and Iran got underway in Switzerland.
