Leonardo Plaza Kinneret Hotel Undergoes Major Renovation

The Leonardo Plaza Kinneret hotel in Tiberias has reopened after a comprehensive NIS 150 million renovation, rebranding to emphasize its lakeside location. The extensive upgrades, which were carried out from the ground up, include all 261 guest rooms, 19 mini-suites, an executive suite, and a presidential suite. Public areas have also been modernized.

The hotel, formerly known as Leonardo Plaza Tiberias, now aims to offer guests an enhanced vacation experience beyond traditional amenities. The renovation seeks to transform stays in Tiberias into something that extends beyond the pool or returning to the room.

In addition to the refreshed accommodations and public spaces, the hotel features an outdoor pool overlooking the Sea of Galilee, a spa with eight treatment rooms, a dry sauna, relaxation room, jacuzzi, a gym, and a children's club. The hotel also boasts restaurants, halls, and meeting rooms for private and business events.

A significant addition is the planned use of the hotel's performance hall for cultural and music events throughout the year, allowing guests to combine their vacation with live performances. This initiative will launch with a series of acoustic weekends featuring prominent Israeli artists. The hotel's prime location on the promenade, facing the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights, also provides easy access to Tiberias's restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues.
