Man Arrested in Afula for Possessing Stolen Military Grenade
Israeli police arrested a 24-year-old man from the town of Sulam on suspicion of possessing a stolen military grenade. The arrest occurred early on September 18, 2026, in Afula.
During an operation by the Northern District's undercover unit in Afula, officers observed the suspect in the backyard of a residential building in the Afula Illit neighborhood. Upon apprehending the suspect, police discovered a stolen military fragmentation grenade hidden nearby. Additional evidence linking the suspect to the explosive device was also found.
