Israeli Man Arrested for Possessing Stolen IDF Grenade
Police in northern Israel have arrested a 24-year-old man from Kfar Sulem in the Jezreel Valley on suspicion of possessing a stolen Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fragmentation grenade. The arrest occurred in the city of Afula.
Last Friday, authorities observed a suspicious individual in the backyard of an apartment building in the Afula Illit neighborhood. Nearby, a stolen IDF fragmentation grenade was discovered concealed, along with other evidence linking the suspect to the explosive ordnance. The suspect was apprehended at the scene.
A Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended the suspect's detention until September 23rd, as the investigation continues.
