New Accessible Trail Opens at Tel Jezreel Observation Point

A newly upgraded and more accessible observation point at Tel Jezreel, overlooking the Jezreel Valley and Mount Gilboa, has been completed by the Jewish National Fund (JNF). The renovation includes renewed walking paths and observation spots, the addition of a new observation deck, and the installation of shaded seating areas. Significant accessibility improvements have been made to allow individuals with disabilities to enjoy the site's views and open landscape.

Tel Jezreel is a site that combines nature, landscape, and heritage, serving as a starting point for regional hikes. While previously developed, this latest upgrade aims to cater to a broader audience and enhance the visitor experience. Future development plans for Tel Jezreel include planting local and orchard species to integrate with the existing flora and landscape, as well as upgrading the path connecting to the nearby Ein Jezreel spring.
