Maccabi Haifa Midfielder Amit Arzi Nears Full Recovery From Injury
Maccabi Haifa midfielder Amit Arzi is nearing the end of his recovery from a quadriceps tear sustained over two months ago during a team training session. Arzi has already begun running and is expected to gradually return to team practices soon, following the upcoming break. The player had impressed the coaching staff before his injury, and his return presents an opportunity for him to prove his worth to the club until the January transfer window.
Arzi's potential return adds another option to manager Barak Bachar's midfield rotation. In the summer, Arzi attracted interest from several clubs, notably Kiryat Shmona, after a successful loan spell at Hapoel Kfar Saba. He will now aim to secure a regular place in the Maccabi Haifa squad.
Currently, the midfield positions are largely occupied by Bonatini and Eitan Azulai, with Yarin Levi starting the initial games before Ali Mohamed took over. Cedric Don has played full matches and appeared as a substitute multiple times. The player with the fewest minutes in midfield so far is Navot Ratner, who has made one substitute appearance.
