Son Eulogizes Father Murdered in West Bank Terror Attack

Yoav Shkaron delivered a eulogy for his father, Natanel Shkaron, who was killed in a terrorist attack at the Ein Ri'a spring in the Benjamin region hours before Yom Kippur. Yoav himself survived the attack, crediting his father with saving his life.

Speaking at the cemetery in Ali Zahav, Yoav recounted the moments of the attack, stating, "Father, I want to say thank you for 16 years together. Thank you that during the attack, when the terrorist entered, you shouted to me. I don't remember what you told me, and I ran away." He expressed gratitude for his survival, saying, "Thank you for giving me life, thank you to God that I was saved."

Yoav also addressed his father directly, saying, "I want to ask Father for forgiveness for what I did, and maybe it hurt you." He concluded by assuring his family that they would persevere together. The attack occurred near the settlement of Shilo.
