Israel Foils Major Terror Plots, Arrests Dozens in West Bank Operations

Israeli security forces have conducted a series of large-scale operations across the West Bank, dismantling terror infrastructure and thwarting imminent attacks. In a swift operation in the village of Qabatiya, elite Duvdevan unit soldiers and Border Police arrested two dangerous terrorists who were planning an immediate, deadly attack. This action, led by the Menashe Brigade and guided by the Shin Bet, prevented a significant loss of life.

These efforts follow a deadly attack at the Ein Ri'o spring near Neve Tzuf, where Natanel Sharon was murdered on the eve of Yom Kippur. In response, forces from the IDF, Border Police, and Shin Bet, under the command of the Benjamin Brigade, carried out an extensive operation in the village of Bido, the terrorist's hometown. Over 100 locations were searched, more than 90 suspects were questioned, and wanted individuals involved in terror activities were apprehended. Additionally, a hunting rifle was discovered.

During the recent holiday period, soldiers also seized numerous weapons, including two Carlo submachine guns and a lathe used for manufacturing weapons. These findings highlight ongoing attempts by terror organizations to rebuild their capabilities and establish infrastructure for future attacks. The security establishment emphasized its commitment to continuing these operations with full force and determination.

Further operations continued on Monday, with the Ephraim Brigade leading a broad sweep in the villages of Bruqin and Ad-Dik. Approximately 80 additional suspects were questioned, and thorough searches for illegal weapons were conducted. These actions are aimed at stifling terror networks and restoring security to the region's residents.

In parallel, in the Gaza Strip, Hamas sources reported that 4 terrorists were killed and 17 wounded in the past 24 hours due to precise IDF strikes. The ongoing operations in both the West Bank and Gaza demonstrate a sustained effort to pressure terror organizations and protect Israeli citizens.
