Maccabi Tel Aviv is gearing up for the start of the EuroLeague season, with their first game scheduled for Thursday against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne. After securing their first title of the season against Hapoel Tel Aviv, the team is looking to begin their 2026-27 EuroLeague campaign with a strong showing.

The team expects to have a nearly full roster available. However, a significant absence will be guard Jaron Blossomgame, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during preseason. While he has returned to full training, medical staff are cautious about his immediate return to avoid re-injury and ensure long-term health.

On a positive note, center Daniel Theis is set to rejoin coach Oded Kattash's squad.
