Acre School Holds Emergency Preparedness Drill for Students

Ort Haimi Al-Shafei School in Acre organized an awareness drill for its tenth-grade students on September 21, 2026, focusing on proper and safe conduct during emergencies, particularly earthquakes. The exercise aimed to enhance student awareness, provide knowledge of essential steps during an earthquake, and train them for rapid and organized response to ensure everyone's safety.

The event was supported and overseen by the school principal, Professor Mohammed Hajuj. It was supervised by Tahrir Muslimani, the tenth-grade director, and Maysoun Hawamdi, the social education coordinator. Teachers of the tenth grades also participated, accompanying students throughout the drill and contributing to its success.

Principal Hajuj emphasized the importance of such drills in fostering a culture of prevention and preparedness among students. He stressed that the safety of students and staff is the school's top priority. The school reiterated its commitment to educating students on responsibility, awareness, and readiness, believing that its mission extends beyond academic instruction to preparing students to act responsibly in various situations.
