Israeli Army Chief Orders Demolition of Terrorist's Home Near Ramallah
The Israeli military's Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, has ordered the demolition of the home belonging to the perpetrator of a recent attack near Ramallah. Zamir also instructed the imposition of a security cordon around the attack site in the West Bank and the continued pursuit of individuals suspected of aiding the attacker.
In a statement, the Israeli military confirmed the Chief of Staff's directives to seal and demolish the assailant's residence. Zamir emphasized the army's heightened state of readiness, with enhanced forces deployed across various fronts, including during the ongoing fasting period. "The Israeli army is on high alert, deployed and prepared with reinforced forces on various fronts, as well as during the fasting period," he stated. "Our mission is clear and ongoing: to thwart terrorism, act decisively against any threat, and protect the citizens of the State of Israel."
