IDF Forces Neutralize Palestinian Attacker Near Ganim Settlement
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that its forces neutralized a Palestinian terrorist who attempted to carry out a vehicular ramming attack against soldiers operating in the Ganim area, within the Menashe Brigade. The incident occurred recently, and no Israeli soldiers were harmed.
Palestinian sources identified the attacker as Sami al-Zouayda, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp. He was killed while attempting the ramming attack near the settlement of Ganim.
The terrorist's vehicle was confiscated following the incident. The IDF stated that its forces, guided by the Shin Bet security agency, had previously arrested another terrorist, Qadri Samara, who carried out a deadly shooting attack in the Benjamin region. Samara is reportedly from the village of Biddu, near Givat Ze'ev, north of Jerusalem. His home was subsequently raided by IDF forces.
