Beloved Reality TV Star and Nightlife Figure Carol Zvi Weiner Dies at 45
The Israeli entertainment industry and Tel Aviv nightlife scene are mourning the sudden death of Carol Zvi Weiner, who passed away last Friday at the age of 45 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Zvi Weiner was best known as a star of the eighth season of the popular reality television show "Connected" (Mekhuberim) and was a beloved figure in Tel Aviv's nightlife.
Before her television fame, Zvi Weiner was a prominent personality in Tel Aviv's social scene. Alongside her partner and business associate Miki Weiner, she managed the well-known bar "Geula." Previously, she was associated with the "Helen Carolla" bar, located near the Carmel Market.
Her widespread public exposure came in 2017 when she was cast in "Connected." The show documented a tumultuous period in her life, capturing her long-awaited pregnancy and the birth of her son. Amidst this joy, the series also filmed her difficult journey after discovering a growth in her neck during pregnancy. This period was further shadowed by the recent death of her sister, Karin, also from cancer.
Zvi Weiner is survived by her only son, who recently celebrated his ninth birthday.
