New Ritual Bath Opens in Kiryat Ye'arim on Eve of Holy Day
A new, elaborate ritual bath (mikveh) was inaugurated in Kiryat Ye'arim in a festive ceremony. The mikveh was established by the institutions of the Sephardic Yeshiva Students, led by Rabbi David Ben Amram, and adheres to the halachic (Jewish law) guidelines set by the local rabbinical authority.
This new facility joins the existing mikveh in the town, which has been in use for over 50 years, and will provide an additional resource for the ritual purity needs of the residents. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the local rabbinical authority, yeshiva deans, local rabbis, community rabbis, public figures, and philanthropists.
