Woman Critically Injured After Three-Car Crash in Upper Galilee
A severe car accident involving three private vehicles occurred on Route 886 near Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee region. One of the vehicles veered off the road, trapping its driver.
Two fire and rescue teams from the Northern District responded to the scene. Firefighters cut through the car door to extricate the trapped driver. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) treated the woman at the scene, assessing her condition as serious.
"We operated to rescue a driver who was trapped in a vehicle that veered off the road following the accident," said Incident Commander Rabbi Reishif Elad Botbol. "The firefighters performed a cut on the car door, rescued the driver, and transferred her for further treatment by MDA teams at the scene."
