Firefighters Rescue Trapped Driver from Serious Car Crash in Upper Galilee
Two firefighting and rescue teams from the Northern District responded to a serious car accident involving three private vehicles on Route 886, near Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee. Firefighters worked to extricate a female driver who became trapped inside her car following the collision.
The rescue operation involved cutting through the vehicle's door to free the trapped driver. Once extricated, she was handed over to medical personnel who assessed her condition as serious. The incident commander, Chief Fire Officer Elad Botbol, described the scene, noting that the driver's car had veered off the road as a result of the crash. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided further treatment at the scene.
