Serious Accident in Upper Galilee Leaves Driver in Critical Condition
Two fire and rescue teams responded to a severe car accident involving three private vehicles on Road 886 near Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee on Tuesday. One vehicle veered off the road, trapping its driver.
Firefighters worked to extricate the woman from the wreckage by cutting through the car door. After being freed, she was transferred to the care of Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical teams at the scene, who assessed her condition as serious.
Incident commander, Chief Fire Officer Elad Botbol, stated, "We operated to rescue a driver who was trapped in a vehicle that veered off the road following the accident. The firefighters cut the car door, rescued the driver, and transferred her for further treatment by MDA teams at the scene."
