TV Host Maayan Adam Slams MK Tali Gottlieb Over Fallen IDF Officer

Television host Maayan Adam launched a scathing verbal attack on Member of Knesset Tali Gottlieb during a live broadcast, defending a former senior Shin Bet official, Mira Shoshani. The heated exchange occurred following the airing of a program about Shoshani, who lost her daughter during the October 7th Hamas attack. Adam, whose sister was also killed on October 7th, expressed outrage at Gottlieb's alleged statements regarding Shoshani and the events of that day.

Adam vehemently defended Shoshani, stating that Gottlieb's words were deeply hurtful and unnecessary, especially given the profound grief Shoshani has already endured. "She is the ugliest person from the inside that I have ever heard in my life," Adam declared on air, referring to Gottlieb. "Someone so insignificant and ugly cannot hurt Mira. It already hurts so much, you cannot hurt us anymore."

Adam further contrasted the two women, asserting that Shoshani's contributions to Israel would be remembered, while Gottlieb's public legacy would be negligible. "History will forget Tali Gottlieb," Adam predicted. "She will be another joke, another loudmouth who shouted and didn't influence or do anything. People who destroy what is good never manage to stay here and influence."

Adam emphasized that in her view, there was no comparison between Shoshani's immense contributions and personal loss and Gottlieb's actions. "She is nothing compared to this giant woman, compared to her contribution to the State of Israel and her loss," Adam stated.

Concluding her remarks, Adam appealed to the media to stop providing Gottlieb with a platform. "You can't talk about her anymore, you can't hear about her anymore, you can't give her a place anymore. I beg you, stop paying attention to her already," she pleaded.
