Water Union and Local Council Discuss Infrastructure Upgrades in Al-Mashhad

The "Mayim Ke'em" (Your Water) Union recently held a productive meeting with the new local council of Al-Mashhad to discuss the development of water and sewage infrastructure in the town. The meeting took place at the union's offices in Kafr Kanna and was attended by Al-Mashhad Council Chairman Tawfiq Suleiman, senior council staff, and Ashraf Hassan, a member of the union's board. Union Director-General Salah Nassar and his team welcomed the delegation.

The union presented an overview of its operations and future plans, focusing on a significant investment in water and sewage infrastructure. They highlighted ongoing and planned projects designed to meet the town's needs and enhance future service readiness. Specific local issues addressed included the upcoming tender for a new pumping station, which the union committed to initiating immediately.

Discussions also covered infrastructure development in the industrial zone, neighborhood number 5, street 24, and the eastern neighborhood. Administrative and organizational matters relevant to both the union and the council were also reviewed. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued direct communication to ensure regular project monitoring, identify needs, and expedite the resolution of shared issues, all aimed at improving infrastructure and services for residents.

The meeting included several officials from the Al-Mashhad Local Council, including Chairman Tawfiq Suleiman, engineer Khaled Shehadeh, accountant Ghassan Saleh, and maintenance official Noor Hassan. Representing the "Mayim Ke'em" Union were Director-General Salah Nassar, engineer Shadi Khoury, and department heads responsible for sewage, water, licensing, finance, customer service, and enforcement, along with their respective staff.
