Water Union and Al-Mashhad Council Discuss Infrastructure Upgrades

The "Mayimkhem" (Your Water) Union held a productive meeting with the new local council of Al-Mashhad to discuss developing the municipality's water and sewage infrastructure. The meeting took place at the union's offices in Kafr Kanna and was attended by Al-Mashhad Council head Tawfiq Suleiman, senior council staff, and Ashraf Hassan, a member of the union's board.

The union's management, led by General Director Salah Nassar, presented an overview of the union's operations, future plans, and a significant investment strategy for water and sewage infrastructure. They highlighted ongoing and planned projects designed to meet the town's needs and enhance future network readiness.

Key local issues addressed included the upcoming tender for a new pumping station, which the union committed to launching immediately. Discussions also covered infrastructure development in the industrial zone, neighborhood number 5, street 24, and the eastern neighborhood, alongside administrative and organizational matters relevant to both bodies.

The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining direct communication channels between "Mayimkhem" and local authorities. This collaboration aims to facilitate regular project monitoring, identify needs, and expedite the resolution of shared issues to improve infrastructure and services for residents.
