Haim Revivo Proud of Son Roi After Strong Elche Performance
Roy Revivo, playing for Elche, is set to join the Israeli national team in Vienna for their UEFA Nations League preparations. This follows his impressive performance in Elche's match against Espanyol on Friday, where he provided two assists. Instead of returning to Elche with his team, Revivo flew from Barcelona to Vienna to link up with the squad ahead of their game against Austria in Linz on Thursday. National team coach Ran Ben Shimon was reportedly pleased with Revivo's display.
Revivo faces a significant challenge with the national team, with four matches scheduled. His father, former Israeli football star Haim Revivo, expressed pride in his son's recent performance. "Three points for the team are more important than anything," Haim Revivo stated, adding, "I am happy he expressed his attacking abilities despite Redondo's red card. The road is still long and difficult, but this is an enjoyable start. I am proud of him."
The national team's preparations are taking place in Vienna before the Yom Kippur holiday. Revivo is expected to join the team in Vienna on Saturday.
