Israeli Shelling Wounds Two in Southern Lebanon
Two people were injured on Friday by Israeli artillery shelling in the southern Lebanese town of Shaqra, in the Bint Jbeil district. The Lebanese National News Agency reported the incident, stating that Israeli forces carried out the attack.
In a separate but related event, an Israeli military force advanced towards the outskirts of the town of Deir Mimas, near the border in southeastern Lebanon. The soldiers reportedly threw six sound grenades near their position at the internal entrance of the town. This occurred concurrently with reinforcements from the Lebanese army arriving in the vicinity of Deir Mimas.
