Hapoel Tel Aviv Recovers from Derby Loss with Dominant 3-0 Victory

Hapoel Tel Aviv bounced back from a significant 4-1 derby defeat to secure a comfortable 3-0 win over Hapoel Petah Tikva on Friday, opening the latest round of matches. The victory, achieved at Bloomfield Stadium, allowed the team to head into the international break on a positive note.

Hapoel Tel Aviv established their dominance early. In the 10th minute, Emmanuel Boateng scored with a header from a cross, giving his team a 1-0 lead. Just seven minutes later, Chico doubled the advantage with another header, this time from a corner kick delivered by debutant Lindell, making it 2-0.

The visitors' situation worsened in the 42nd minute when Karim Kimbedi received a second yellow card for a foul on Falcao, resulting in his expulsion and leaving Hapoel Petah Tikva with ten players. This red card significantly hampered their ability to mount a comeback.

In the second half, Hapoel Tel Aviv continued their offensive pressure. In the 55th minute, an own goal by Or Israelov, after a pass across the box by Roey Alkokin, extended the lead to 3-0. Despite the goalkeeper Omer Katz's attempt to intervene, the ball found the back of the net.
