Gaza Violence: Israeli Strikes Kill One, Injure Others; Building Collapse Hurts Children

A young man was killed and several others, including women, were injured in Israeli shelling and airstrikes that targeted various areas in the Gaza Strip on Friday. Local sources reported the death of Karam Mus'ad Al-Masar'a after being wounded by Israeli forces in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Concurrently, artillery shelling targeted the northeastern area of the Bureij camp.

In Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, tanks and helicopters fired east and south of the city, while the coast was subjected to naval shelling. Airstrikes also hit Rafah, and gunfire was reported east of Gaza City.

Separately, five children were injured due to the partial collapse of a residential building in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City. The building, damaged by previous Israeli shelling, collapsed partially. This is the second such incident in three days. Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza, stated that rescue teams extracted five children with minor injuries from the collapsed building, which belonged to the Wishah family.

Three days prior, a similar building collapse, known as "Saeed Tower" in the industrial area west of Gaza City, resulted in the deaths of 21 people, including 12 children, and injured others, according to official data.
