Reconciled Hasidic Leaders End Five-Year Feud
Two prominent Hasidic rebbes, brothers from the Nadvorna dynasty, met for a historic reconciliation after a five-year estrangement. The Nadvorna Rebbe hosted his brother, the Nadvorna Rebbe of Jerusalem, at his home in Bnei Brak on Thursday night, during the Ten Days of Repentance.
The meeting, described as uplifting, took place in the Nadvorna Hasidic quarter of Bnei Brak. Sources close to the event indicated that community activists were instrumental in mediating the peace talks between the two brothers.
During their conversation, the rebbes reminisced about their shared memories of their late father, Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak, known as the Ba'al Ha'Be'er Yaakov. The gathering was marked by a sense of relief and joy among followers in the Nadvorna community.
