Young Man Critically Injured in Haifa Stabbing During Brawl
A 23-year-old man was seriously injured on Tuesday evening after being stabbed during a brawl on HaShalom Street in Haifa. Emergency medical services, including United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom, responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the young man suffering from penetrating wounds to his abdomen and lower limbs. They provided initial medical treatment, including stopping bleeding and bandaging the wounds, before transporting him to Rambam Health Care Campus hospital in critical condition. He was admitted to the trauma unit for further care.
United Hatzalah Carmel region official Avi Epstein and paramedic Moishe Scheinfield described the scene, stating they encountered the victim after the violent incident. The circumstances leading to the brawl and stabbing are currently under investigation by the police.
