Man Critically Injured in Violence at Jerusalem's Shuafat Refugee Camp
A man in his 30s sustained serious, penetrating injuries in an incident of violence at the Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem on the evening of September 17, 2026. Emergency medical services were alerted to the incident at 7:15 PM and arrived at a rendezvous point near the camp's checkpoint.
Paramedics provided initial life-saving treatment to the victim, who was conscious but disoriented. He was transported by intensive care ambulance to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for further treatment.
"We met a man in his thirties who was in a state of confused consciousness and suffering from severe penetrating injuries to his body," said the paramedics who treated him. "We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and immediately transferred him to the hospital in serious condition."
