Teenage Gangs Exchange Gunfire in Kiryat Ono and Ganei Tikva
Police in the Dan region have solved two shooting incidents involving rival teenage gangs that occurred two months ago in Kiryat Ono and Ganei Tikva. Exclusive footage of the events was broadcast Thursday by Kan News.
During a confrontation in Kiryat Ono, one teenager left to retrieve a handgun from his home. Upon his return, he fired shots into the street, though the rival gang members managed to escape unharmed. Subsequently, members of the rival group went to the shooter's residence in Ganei Tikva, firing at the building and causing property damage. Both incidents caused significant public alarm.
About a week ago, police arrested five suspects in connection with the shootings. An indictment is expected to be filed soon. The report also briefly mentions a separate incident involving a gang of 12-year-olds terrorizing Bat Yam, and a statement from a parent regarding the return of accused individuals to school.
