Anan Khalaili continues to attract attention across Europe, with Napoli emerging as the leading club linked to the Israeli winger. According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli is still in talks to sign the defender, and sporting director Giovanni Manna sees him as an ideal solution for the club’s back line.
Recent reports say the move to Italy has stalled because of a gap between Napoli and Khalaili’s club, Union Saint-Gilloise, which could threaten the deal. Alfredo Pedulla reported that the Belgian club values Khalaili at about 25 million euros, while Napoli is not prepared at this stage to meet that price as it looks to strengthen the right wing ahead of next season.
Napoli is treating the wing position as a top priority, so it is also considering alternatives. One option is Fiorentina’s Dodô, who is entering the final year of his contract and could cost less. Pedulla said Napoli still prefers Khalaili because of his young age and development potential, but Dodô’s estimated 15 million euro price tag may influence the decision. He has also been offered to Roma, which could push Napoli to decide sooner.
Khalaili has also drawn interest elsewhere, with English reports saying several clubs are following his situation after his strong performances last season. British journalist Paul O’Keefe said Tottenham are also considering him. Savinho is Tottenham’s preferred target, but Harry Wilson and the Israeli international are also among the options under review.
