Napoli is working to complete a move for Israeli winger Anan Khalaili, but the club has not yet reached a breakthrough with Union Saint-Gilloise, which is asking for €25 million. The report, published on June 20, 2026, says Napoli is trying to find a solution as quickly as possible.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano said Napoli is “working hard these days and hours” and identified Khalaili as the club’s preferred right-back option, ahead of other names that were discussed. According to Romano, sporting director Giovanni Manna sees the young player as the first choice and has followed him throughout the past season.
Romano added that Napoli believes Khalaili wants the move and understands that playing in Italy would be “a wonderful opportunity” for him. Napoli still needs to finalize terms with Union Saint-Gilloise, but, Romano said, Khalaili is at the top of the club’s list.
If the deal goes through, Khalaili is expected to earn €1.5 million per season. This season he has scored five goals and added six assists in all competitions, including a brace against Marseille and a winning goal against Atalanta in the Champions League.
