Radio Host Cuts Off MK Gottlieb Over October 7 Conspiracy Claims

Radio host Sivan Cohen clashed sharply with Knesset Member Tally Gottlieb on air, ultimately ending the interview after Gottlieb asserted that the events of October 7th constituted a "coup and rebellion." Cohen accused Gottlieb of echoing conspiracies and called her "disconnected and delusional."

The heated exchange occurred on Radio 103FM when Gottlieb claimed that prior to the October 7th Hamas attack, there was a "coup and rebellion" and that the Prime Minister and government were not informed of war signs until 6:29 AM, citing investigation reports.

Cohen interrupted Gottlieb, accusing her of delivering a monologue instead of answering questions and questioning her humanity. "Are you capable of being human beyond slogans?" Cohen asked, referencing a senior female Shin Bet official who lost her daughter and suffered atrocities on October 7th. Cohen criticized Gottlieb's disconnect, stating, "You are disconnected and delusional, and it's delusional that you are number two in a party that will receive eight or maybe ten seats. You continue to echo conspiracies."

Gottlieb retorted that Cohen should allow her to respond and speak to her with appropriate respect. Cohen refused to back down, stating that harming those abandoned on October 7th, who paid the heaviest price, was unacceptable and told Gottlieb, "Shame on you."

At this point, Cohen decided to end the interview and remove Gottlieb from the call, concluding that there are limits and expressing disgust at politicians who remain disconnected and continue to echo "delusional conspiracies" that even the Prime Minister has denied.
