Radio Host Clashes With Lawmaker Over Security Official's Daughter Killed on Oct. 7

A heated exchange erupted on air at 103FM radio between host Sivan Cohen and Knesset member Tali Gottlieb, stemming from a question about a documentary concerning a senior Shin Bet official, Mira Shoshani. Cohen asked Gottlieb for her reaction to the film, which featured Shoshani, whose daughter was killed during the October 7th Hamas attacks.

Gottlieb initially responded briefly, stating, "Many people paid a terrible price," which escalated the confrontation. Cohen, angered by the response, questioned Gottlieb's empathy, asking, "Tali, why speak like that? Really, what is happening to you? Do you have a drop of blood in your body?"
