Hospital Patient Granted Wish to Attend Yom Kippur Prayers

A patient from Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, identified as 'A', who has been hospitalized for an extended period in the respiratory rehabilitation unit, was recently granted a special wish to attend Selichot prayers at the Ma'ale Eliyahu Yeshiva. 'A' developed a connection with students from the yeshiva who visit the hospital weekly to host Kiddush for patients. One student maintained contact with 'A' and invited him to join the Selichot service.

Despite his complex medical condition, requiring constant monitoring and medical equipment, the medical team, in collaboration with MDA's 'Wishing Ambulance' service, yeshiva students, rabbis, and hospital staff, facilitated the outing. 'A' attended the prayers with his mother and received a warm welcome from the yeshiva community. This event was described as a moment of strength and faith for his family and the staff during a difficult hospitalization.
