Yango Deli Appoints Naama Elshich as New CEO in Israel
Digital commerce and delivery giant Yango Deli has announced the appointment of Naama Elshich as its new CEO for Israel. Elshich, 44, brings extensive experience in retail, commerce, and sales, having previously served as Deputy CEO of Shufersal Amiga. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the Open University and a master's degree in Business Administration from Peres Academic Center.
Yango Deli, part of the international technology group Yango, is a leader in Israel's Quick Commerce sector, specializing in rapid delivery of groceries and convenience items. The company operates a network of "dark stores" across Israel, enabling delivery of thousands of products within minutes of an order placed via its app. Since entering the Israeli market, Yango Deli has significantly impacted local consumption patterns, competing directly with traditional supermarket chains and other delivery platforms.
In her new role, Elshich will oversee the company's public and business operations, expand its geographical reach, and lead its commercial strategy in Israel. Elshich stated, "I am excited to join Yango Deli. The retail market is undergoing significant changes in consumer habits and expectations, and I believe the combination of customer experience and accelerated digital processes will allow us to expand operations and increase market share."
