Palestinian Poll Shows Hamas Support Plunging; Israel Vows to Continue Degrading Terror Groups

A new Palestinian survey conducted by the JMCC research institute reveals a significant decline in support for armed struggle among Gaza Strip residents, with only 9.7% believing it is the best way to achieve national goals. Prominent Israeli political sources stated that the policy, led with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, focuses on denying territory, infrastructure, commanders, and rearmament capabilities to jihadist terror organizations.

This strategy has been applied in Gaza, Lebanon, and the northern West Bank through population evacuation from combat zones, ensuring IDF operational freedom, destroying above and below-ground infrastructure, and targeted elimination of terror leaders. According to these sources, Hamas faces a severe strategic reality, and Israel is determined to achieve all its security objectives to prevent a recurrence of the October 7th events.

Israel will not permit any entity to rearm Hamas, especially after the elimination of Palestinian Islamic Jihad leaders in Iran. The sources also sharply criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, asserting that Israel will continue to act with military might and political wisdom to achieve its strategic goals against Iran and in other arenas.
