Over 65,000 Pilgrims Gather at Rabbi Nachman's Tomb in Uman for Rosh Hashanah
More than 65,000 Hasidim and visitors from 46 countries gathered near the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, Ukraine, for Rosh Hashanah services. The large attendance marked a significant convergence, with pilgrims traveling from across the globe for the traditional gathering.
Within the main Klaus complex, approximately 13,000 worshippers participated in various prayer services throughout the holiday. The central mikvah (ritual bath) also saw heavy use, with over 10,000 entry tickets purchased in advance of the holiday.
To manage the large crowds and ensure the well-being of attendees, the organization 'United Breslov' distributed around 40,000 bottles of water in the days leading up to and during Rosh Hashanah. This effort aimed to provide for the thousands of pilgrims visiting the site.
