Court Bans Naming Eilat Man Who Admitted Stabbing Wife

The husband, suspected of attempted murder, evidence destruction, and obstruction of justice, appeared in the Eilat Magistrate's Court on Thursday. His detention was extended by six days. His defense attorney requested that his name be withheld from publication, a request the judge granted without providing any legal reasoning, despite the usual practice of publishing names of suspects.
