Apple Bundles TV+ and Arcade into iCloud+ for Israeli Subscribers

Apple has announced that starting this month, iCloud+ subscribers in Israel will receive complimentary access to Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade as part of their existing subscription. This benefit extends to the most basic iCloud+ plan, which includes 50 gigabytes of cloud storage and costs 3.90 shekels per month.

This move represents a significant cost reduction for Israeli consumers. Previously, Apple TV+ was priced at 25.90 shekels monthly, and Apple Arcade at 17.90 shekels per month. Consequently, services with a combined value of 43.80 shekels per month will now be included in the 3.90 shekel iCloud+ subscription. For individuals who previously paid for these services separately, the monthly savings could reach up to 43.80 shekels, or approximately 526 shekels annually.

Additionally, iCloud+ subscribers in Israel will gain access to Apple Music Select, an ad-free selection of music stations, described as a limited version of the Apple Music subscription. Apple stated that as a result of this integration, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as standalone subscriptions directly through the company in Israel. Existing subscribers to these individual services will transition to the iCloud+ bundle, and their separate subscriptions will be canceled. Apple assured users that their progress and saved data in Apple Arcade games will be preserved.

Concurrently, Apple will cease offering the Apple One bundle to new subscribers in Israel. Apple One combines multiple company services under a single monthly payment. Current Apple One subscribers can continue their subscriptions as usual, but new users will be unable to join. This new bundle structure is set to launch in Israel during September as part of a broader update affecting over 100 countries and regions. The iCloud+ subscription can be shared with up to five additional family members through Family Sharing, allowing them to also utilize the bundled services.
