Journalist Slams Opposition Leaders for Internal Squabbles Ahead of Election

Israeli journalist Barak Ravid sharply criticized leaders of the "Change Bloc" on Thursday for their ongoing internal disputes, warning that their infighting could lead to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's victory in the upcoming elections. Ravid directly addressed prominent figures including Gabi Ashkenazi, Avigdor Lieberman, and Naftali Bennett, questioning their sanity and accusing them of jeopardizing their cause just 40 days before the election.

"Have you gone mad? Have you decided to destroy everything? What is the meaning of these wild disputes among you 40 days before the election?" Ravid stated, emphasizing the large number of citizens observing them. He expressed bewilderment at their actions, especially given the three-and-a-half-year struggle against what he described as a "terrible disaster" of a government led by a prime minister seeking to evade his criminal trial.

Ravid characterized the upcoming election as the most critical in the country's history. He urged the opposition leaders to cease their conflicts, convene, and agree on a unified strategy. He stressed the importance of instilling fighting spirit, optimism, and a strong sense of impending victory in their voters, stating that failure to win would be unforgivable and that the future of the country is at stake.
