Israeli Journalist Slams Opposition Leaders for Infighting Ahead of Elections

Journalist Barak Ravid sharply criticized leaders of the "change bloc" on Thursday for their internal disputes, warning that their infighting could lead to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's victory in the upcoming elections. Ravid directly addressed prominent figures including Gabi Ashkenazi, Avigdor Lieberman, and Naftali Bennett, questioning their sanity and accusing them of jeopardizing the election effort with their "wild quarrels" just 40 days before the vote.

"Are you crazy? Have you decided to destroy everything?" Ravid asked, expressing dismay at the public nature of their disagreements. He highlighted the efforts of citizens who have been fighting against the current government for three and a half years, describing it as "terrible disaster" that has failed in all areas and is led by a prime minister seeking to evade his criminal trial.

Ravid emphasized the critical nature of the upcoming elections, calling them the most consequential in the country's history. He urged the opposition leaders to cease their disputes and unite, stating that failure to win would be "unforgivable." He advised them to convene, resolve their differences, and establish a joint strategy that would instill fighting spirit, optimism, and a strong sense of impending victory among their voters, asserting that "this is the future of the country."
