Neve Herzog Yeshiva Students Release Prayerful Musical Medley

In anticipation of the Ten Days of Repentance, students from the Neve Herzog Yeshiva have released a musical performance featuring a medley of prayer and spiritual awakening songs. The medley, titled "Hashivenu Elecha" (Return Us to You), aims to capture the spirit of the High Holy Days.

It incorporates the songs "Hashivenu," "Ribono Shel Olam" (Master of the Universe), and "Shaarei Shamayim" (Gates of Heaven), performed collectively by the yeshiva's students. Central to the performance are the well-known words from the Book of Lamentations, "Hashivenu Adonai Elecha V'nashuva" (Return us, Lord, to you, and we shall return), a plea that has resonated with the Jewish people for generations.

The performance seeks to bridge the worlds of yeshiva study, prayer, and music, immersing students and viewers in the atmosphere of the Ten Days of Repentance, a period when prayer holds particular significance and the heart yearns for closeness.

At the conclusion of the video, the Rosh Yeshiva (Dean), Rabbi Sharon Tzabri, extends New Year wishes for a good and inscribed year to the students, their families, and all viewers. Rabbi Avraham Miyara oversaw the production of the medley, with vocal performances by the students. David Satar handled the filming, and Shi Samuel Ben Moshe was responsible for the graphic design.
