Singer Avraham Yehuda Neiman Releases Emotional Selichot Medley

As the Jewish month of Elul begins, singer Avraham Yehuda Neiman has released a new, emotionally resonant musical medley in anticipation of the High Holy Days and the Selichot prayers. The project, described as a special gift to Jewish music, features six original performances with new arrangements, aiming to connect listeners to the spiritual depth of the period.

Neiman stated that the days of Elul bring melodies of repentance, longing, and hope for a new beginning. He explained that he gathered some of his most moving songs into one medley to open hearts and usher listeners into the elevated atmosphere of the High Holy Days.

The medley includes six songs originally performed by prominent singers in the Chassidic and Jewish music world. Among them are "Anenu" and "K'Rachem Av Al Banim" by Dudi Kalish, "Pana Elai" by R' Shimshon Neiman, "Yihyu L'Ratzon" by R' Moshe Yehiel Weiss, "Oli Yachus" by R' Pinchas Mordechai (Pinky) Weber, and "Hashivenu" by Chanan Ben Ari.

The musical production was led by Shimi Mendell, with arrangements by Menachem Bernstein and Shimi Mendell. Noam Chargol played the guitars, Menachem Bernstein handled the recordings, and Yanki Cohen produced the final mix. The project's public relations are managed by Control.

This release joins other recent musical projects aimed at preparing the public for the Selichot and High Holy Days, including a medley by Tzvi Levin and Zanvil Weinberger with the Naranna choir, and a song by Rabbi Ronen Shaulov titled "Lo Tish'ar Oti Levad."
