Feingold and Shu'a Expected to Receive National Team Call-Ups

The Israeli national football team is set to announce its squad for upcoming Nations League matches against Austria, Kosovo, and Ireland, with two key players expected to return. Eliyahu Feingold, currently playing for the New England Revolution, is poised for a senior team call-up for the first time since November 2024. Feingold had previously refused to join the youth national team in June 2024, leading to a conditional six-month ban and a fine. He publicly apologized for his absence.

Beitar Jerusalem captain Jordan Shu'a is also anticipated to be included in the squad, despite a mixed start to the season. While he provided an assist in his team's recent win, he has often come off the bench and has not been fully fit to start in most league games. Nonetheless, coach Ran Ben Shimon is expected to select him.
