Stolen IDF Rocket Fired at Residential Compound in Jaljulia

An unusual incident occurred in Jaljulia on Wednesday evening when unidentified individuals fired an anti-tank rocket, stolen from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), at a residential complex housing a crime family. Fortunately, no injuries were reported despite the use of military-grade weaponry. Police from the Kfar Qassem station in the Sharon region responded to the scene and initiated searches and a manhunt for the suspects. Evidence was collected from the site to aid in identifying those involved. Police confirmed that a "stolen military ordnance item" was fired at the complex, and the findings were sent to forensic and explosives labs for further analysis. The motive is believed to be criminal, and investigations are ongoing.

This incident follows a similar event last weekend in Sajur, in the Galilee, where an anti-tank rocket was fired at a house, causing significant damage but no injuries. Initially, residents thought the explosion was from a rocket launched from Lebanon. Later reports indicated the Sajur rocket was aimed at the home of a Border Police officer. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) briefly investigated the Sajur incident but withdrew when it became clear the motive was personal, not nationalistic or terrorism-related. The officer was reportedly under threat, with his security level downgraded from level 6 to level 4. Investigation findings suggest a hit squad was responsible, burning their getaway vehicle after the rocket launch. No arrests have been made in the Sajur case.
