Arab Culture Days Festival Features Plays, Family Events in Haifa

Haifa is hosting "Arab Culture Days," a multi-day festival showcasing a variety of performances and family-friendly activities. The event aims to provide a platform for Arabic theater and cultural programming in the city.

Recent highlights included the play "Between Heaven and Earth" at Beit Al-Karma, produced by Sahal Theater and written and directed by Rawda Suleiman. The performance explores themes of nature's balance and human environmental responsibility. Also featured was "In Wonderland," a musical comedy for children aged 4-7, focusing on friendship, cooperation, and accepting differences.

Upcoming events include the play "Reboot" on Thursday, September 17th, by Karma Theater. This production follows a family navigating a virtual world, emphasizing family relationships and cooperation. On Saturday, September 19th, Beit Al-Karma's courtyard will host free family activities, including art workshops, interactive sessions, music, circus acts, and puppet shows.

The festival also includes children's shows inspired by well-known stories and works addressing social issues like acceptance, friendship, and challenging stereotypes. One such performance is "Dibo and Na'ouja," a play combining acting, dance, and song, depicting a friendship between a wolf and a sheep that defies their typical portrayals.

The "Arab Culture Days" program offers a diverse mix of performances for adults and children, alongside entertainment and family activities, running for several days.
