Beitar Jerusalem Supports Player Calo After Two Car Accidents

Beitar Jerusalem is providing transportation and potentially driving lessons to its player Jhonnes Bosko Calo following two recent self-inflicted car accidents. Calo was involved in two separate incidents within a month, damaging two vehicles. In one instance, he drove onto a sidewalk, and in the other, he nearly hit a wall. Fortunately, no other drivers were involved, and Calo himself escaped unharmed.

The club stepped in to help after the leasing company that provided Calo's car was slow to offer a replacement vehicle. Beitar Jerusalem has arranged for Calo to use taxis or a private driver for his commutes to and from training sessions. The club is also considering offering him additional driving lessons in Israel to help him regain confidence on the road.

This situation is complicated by Calo's driving history. Last season, he did not possess a driver's license and relied on a taxi driver to get to training. This season, he presented the club and the leasing company with an international driver's license obtained abroad, which led to him receiving a car until the recent accidents occurred.
